Founded in 2016 as an Amazon agency, Optimizon is one of the UK’s most exciting and fast-growing marketplace agencies, dedicated to building and protecting brands on marketplaces such as Amazon, eBay, Wayfair, Onbuy, Mano Mano, DIY.com and many more all over the world.

Based in London and Swindon, with a hybrid office/WFH policy, we have a multi-team approach led by our account managers, supported by our Creative, Advertising, Data Analysis and Technical teams.

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Account Manager to join our dynamic team at our e-commerce agency. The ideal candidate will have substantial experience in managing client relationships, particularly with expertise in Amazon and eBay platforms.

As a Senior Account Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining strong client satisfaction, driving growth opportunities, and ensuring the successful execution of e-commerce strategies.

It is required to have Amazon and eBay experience, whilst other e-commerce channels would be also desirable.

Responsibilities

1. Client Relationship Management:

· Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients, building and maintaining strong relationships

· Understand client goals, challenges, and priorities to provide tailored solutions and exceptional service

· Proactively communicate with clients to address inquiries, provide updates, and offer strategic recommendations

2. E-commerce Strategy Development

· Collaborate with clients to understand their business objectives and develop comprehensive e-commerce strategies

· Utilize expertise in Amazon and eBay platforms to identify growth opportunities, optimize product listings, and enhance brand presence

· Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends and insights to inform strategic decision-making

3. Project Management

· Coordinate cross-functional teams to execute client projects and campaigns effectively and efficiently

· Develop project timelines, set milestones, and ensure deliverables are completed on time and within budget

· Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and implement solutions to drive successful outcomes

4. Performance Analysis & Reporting

· Analyse e-commerce performance metrics, including sales, traffic, conversion rates, and customer engagement

· Generate regular reports and performance summaries for clients providing actionable insights and recommendations for improvement

· Work closely with internal teams to optimise campaigns, refine strategies, and drive continuous improvement

5. Client Education & Training

· Provide guidance and training to partners (clients) on best practices for e-commerce success, including product optimisation, advertising strategies, and customer service

· Stay informed about industry developments, platform updates, and emerging trends to share knowledge and insights with clients

Qualifications

· Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field. Advanced degree of relevant certifications preferred

· 5+ years of experience in account management in e-commerce, with 2+ years’ experience with Amazon, eBay or other marketplaces.

· Demonstrated success in building and maintaining client relationships, with a track record of driving client satisfaction and retention

· Strong understanding of e-commerce principles, including product listing optimisation, digital marketing strategies, and performance analysis

· Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly and effectively to diverse audiences

· Proven project management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks, manage timelines, and drive results in a fast-paced environment

· Analytical mindset with proficiency in data analysis tools and platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, Amazon Seller Central, eBay Seller Hub)

· Strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset, able to identify opportunities for growth and implement effective solutions

· Collaborative team player with strong interpersonal skills and a passion for delivering exceptional client service
